Seems as though robbery is on the rise in PV. I was there in June 07 and heard no stories such as the ones from your site and the events told from many others. Be safe and happy journeys. Pamela

Funny, I just read an article my friend wrote about people being attacked by pirates in Puerta Viejo. Be glad you just lost a few trinkets…
