Stuck in Tucson for a few days trying to bring the Chupacabra to life. More about this later.
Fortunately, we got to fill some time by visiting Rincon High School and talk to a few classes about our trip and Friends of the Lafitte Corridor.
In order to keep our budget costs down and our bellies full, we’ve been dumpster diving around town. Taking advantage of the incredible amount of waste.

OK, so Uncle Bob and I are a little confused, who is this Mary that said she was expecting you? Had she been following your website and knew where you were or what? What an adventure, it is nice to be able to read it and not have to ride those steep hill myself!!! Love you, MOM

Ha ha, ho ho! What a joy to read about you getting out of shape in a month in Flagstaff. When you are over 50, getting out of shape happens in a matter of hours. And I’m impressed that you’ve taken up the humble and thrifty work of dumpster diving. Our society produces ridiculous amounts of perfectly useful waste.

If you can persevere through all of that–you can do anything. I presume Nate had been following you on web;so he knew what he was getting into–a bunch of dare devils taking every known risk. Even so I am proud of you and love to read your experiences. Pretty boring here at home–you add a little spice even vicariously. Love ya and pray for you—- G’ma
