G'day Goat...I have another question that you would know.
With the tyres you are running I understand is a 26 wheels.
However when you put the endomorphs into the wheels, can it be considered as a 29er because of the thick side wall of the endo....

So that is to say it has the properties of a 29er although the wheels are a 26...

Hope I am making sense and correct my thoughts if its wrong...Thanks mate.

G'day Goat...I was thinking you mentioned if there was a front suspension that could fit the 3.7 endo on the chupacabra that would be great.....
I notice from Mike Curiak snow bike by Moots he has a front suspension on his custom made fat bike bicycle...hmm probably its custom made for that bike as well just a thought..interesting....

Thanks for the piece of info Goat.
Yeah I guess such a unique bike need to be custom made.
BTW ever thought of using a rohloff since you guys are on dirt roads all the time?
What about a schlumpf crank?

Hope i can realized my dream of building a fat rubber bike with an extension of the big dummy...

It's been awesome following all your travels...traveling by dirt roads and at times no roads is the way to go...!

Keep off roading,

You might try bars with more sweep or even dirt drops. I ride rigid all the time and having my hands in that position makes an incredible difference. The drops allow you to not have to really grip the bars. Soft hands, as they say. - Mike

G'day Goat....I was wondering if you want to pack the bike up and check in as a sports equipment in a plane trip do you need 2 bicycle boxes to box the chupacabra up?

Well it's an awesome bike...hope this prototype would be finalized for the general market.

I too am curious about the weight. it looks like it weights a ton. It looks like it would be hard going uphill, but might be really good for riding in the snow, ice, etc.

I am wondering if this bike can be made to accomodate and electric motor. i am handicapped and would like to haul my fishing pole down the beach as far as necessary, and this might be a good way to get there. if i can pedal it fine, but if i cant, it would be nice to have that electric motor.

Why don't you get a dirt bike (motorbike) and simply add pedals to that? Then you'd get suspension, fat wheels, and everything else. I'm sure an angle grinder could trim it down to an acceptable weight.

For suspension fork compatibility, look no further than the Maverick SC32. Several pics on the snowbike threads on mtbr :-) Awesome bike you have put together!
